Natalie took a deep breath and her heart rate steadied. "Will you go to sleep in our bedroom tonight?" She asked happily, and her tone full of expectation.

"I'm here to get some files....’’ Billy said frostily. Then he frowned. There was a smell of burning. "What did you burn in the bedroom?"

Natalie’s heart lurched, and she said, "Just some waste paper."

Billy kept silent and gave Natalie a blank stare that flustered her. She looked away and quickly moved on to something else," What files are you looking for? I'll get them for you." "No need!" Billy looked away, took the files out of the drawer, and left.

Natalie's knees buckled. She was eaten up b y regrets! 'God! Why should I bring back the test report sheet? I should have thrown it outside!"

But she would still be worried if she threw i t outside. Billy was a big cheese in the Santabaca. She would be trouble if the test report was found, so she might as well take it back and burn it!
