A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 205

"Ashley, stay here. I'll come and find you later." I heard Edward's voice.

I nodded nervously and hid somewhere. Watching Edward leave, I bit my lips and was about to catch up with him. But someone suddenly grabbed me. Just as I was about to scream, the man raised his pistol and smashed it on my head.

"Ashley..." I heard Edward's heart-wrenching roar.

I opened my eyes slightly and saw Edward's crazy eyes.

I tried my best to reach out my hand and grab him, but I fainted.

Edward...

"Take her away." A cold voice sounded. I felt my body was being carried up, and then I lost consciousness.

"Ashley, I love you."

Was it Edward?

I tried hard to open my eyes, but I couldn't.

I thought of so many things.

Then I remembered the moment when William pierced the knife into my heart angrily.

It hurt...

William... I opened my eyes and saw a shabby and musty room.

I rolled my eyes and slowly lowered my head. When I saw the intact wedding dress on my body, I frowned and got up from the bed.

My head hurt so much. It was so painful to be knocked on the head by someone with great strength.

"You're awake." While I was rubbing my stiff neck and twisting my body, I heard an extremely cold voice.

Then I looked back warily and saw a black shadow sitting in a chair not far from me.

He faced me with his back. I could only see his little outline, and I couldn't see he was clearly.

I put on a cold face, frowned, and asked, "Who are you? What did you bring me here?"

"What's wrong? You don't know me now?"

The man slowly turned his head, and I saw his face that was half burnt.

The moment I saw William's half-burnt face, I was frightened.

His handsome face was half burnt, and he looked so horrible.

"William." My body froze. I clenched my fists, bit my lips, and said.

"It seems that you have remembered everything." William looked at me coldly and got up from the chair.

He knew that I had lost my memory. With a cold look on my face, I sneered, "Thanks to you. I remembered everything just now."

"Haha... You haven't changed. You're still not afraid of death."

William walked to me and said in a gloomy tone.

I frowned and looked at him. With a poker face, I said, "William, what do you want to do by bringing me here?"

Was William still alive? What's wrong with his face? What happened when he fell from the cliff?

"What do I want to do? In order to pay Edward back for what he did to me, I have to take revenge on him."

William touched half of his face and smiled at me coldly and horribly.

"William, I don't understand you."

I looked at William who was extremely crazy and sighed.

Why did he always want to take revenge on Edward?

He and Edward were originally brothers, but they became enemies. Why?

"Ashley, it's all Edward's fault. He destroyed my efforts, so I must ruin him."

"Are you happy to do this?" I looked at William calmly, and I hoped that he could let go of this hatred.

Since he was alive, he should live a good life instead of taking revenge on Edward crazily. "If you die, I'll be happy."

William walked to me and sneered at me in an almost crazy voice.

Looking at him, I frowned.

"If you let me go, I won't blame you for what you've done, and I'll let you escape abroad."

"Ashley, why are you still so naive after such a long time? I won't leave here until I see Edward live a miserable life." William reached out his hand, and his rough fingers were full of scars. His hands were no longer clean and warm. His skin was twisted and horrible.

What happened to him? Why was his face burnt, and even fingers...

"Are you curious why I've become like this, right?"

William got close to me, and I saw his face clearly. Half of his face was handsome but twisted, while the other half was horribly burnt.

Looking at his face, my whole body tensed.
