A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 264

"Ashley forces me to go abroad. I don't want to leave you. Eddie, you said that you will take care of me. You can't break your promise." Ethel reached out her hand, grabbed Edward's hand with difficulty, and looked at him with an extremely aggrieved expression.

Seeing Ethel's expression, I put on a cold face and said, "The plane is ready. Since you're fine, get on the plane first. I have arranged a doctor for you on the plane, you can go abroad for recuperation."

Ethel didn't expect that I would be so determined to send her away. After hearing my words, her face was as stiff as a stone.

"I don't want to go abroad, Eddie."

Ethel looked at Edward with fear and shouted at him.

Because she was too excited, the wound on her neck that had been bandaged was torn.

The white gauze was once again dyed red by blood, which looked a little shocking.

I looked at her excited face and made up my mind, "Paul, take Ethel to the hospital."

Ethel was a stubborn and crazy woman, I should not be softhearted to her. Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.

I was used and hurt again and again because I was softhearted before. So I couldn't be softhearted Paul glanced at me and walked to Ethel. When Ethel saw Paul walking to her, she grabbed Edward's arm and screamed in fear, "Eddie, save me. I don't want to leave you."

"Ashe, let Ethel stay here for the time being."

Edward looked at Ethel who was frightened, then raised his head and said to me.

"No." I refused his request.

Edward didn't notice that Ethel had changed. She had become more stubborn than before.

So I couldn't let Ethel stay.

"Paul, go out."

When Paul looked at me and Edward in a dilemma, Edward suddenly ordered him.

The reason why Edward asked Paul to go out was that he didn't want Ethel to go abroad.

I put on a cold face and looked at Ethel who was hiding behind Edward. Then I clenched my fists tightly.

"Ethel, calm down first." After glancing at me, Edward turned around and comforted Ethel who was hiding behind him.

Ethel was like a frightened rabbit, she kept shivering and looking at Edward with a sad expression.

Seeing Ethel looking at Edward with such an expression, I felt unhappy.

"Eddie, don't drive me away. I'll be obedient, okay?"

Ethel pulled Edward's clothes nervously and said to him timidity.

Looking at Ethel, my face darkened, then I looked at Edward.

"I know. I won't drive you away. Your neck is injured. You should have a good rest now. Do you understand?"

Edward spoke to Ethel in a very gentle tone. After hearing what he said, Ethel looked at him happily.

"Really? Eddie, you won't drive me away?"

"Really."

"Edward..." I couldn't help but say. But Edward just turned around and looked at me with conciliating eyes.

I had no choice but to leave Ethel's ward.

I sat on the bench in the corridor, touched the ring on my finger, and waited for Edward to come out.

After Edward came out, I immediately got up and said discontentedly, "Edward, why did you disrupt my plan?"

It was not only because of Edward that I wanted to send Ethel away. Edward didn't understand why I wanted to send her away.

"I know what you want to say. Ashley, Now Ethel is excited. Do you really want to force her to die?"

Edward said and looked at me with a headache.

"She won't die."

She wanted to commit suicide, but she didn't even cut her artery. Ethel didn't want to die at all. She just wanted to use this method to make Edward sympathize with her.

"Do you think I've become cruel?" Edward didn't say anything for a long time. He just looked at me quietly.

I thought that Edward felt that I was not the same as I was in the past, which made him feel cold in his heart.

Hearing what I said, Edward stepped forward and held me in his arms. He whispered in my ears, "Fool, how can I feel that you are cruel?"

"Ashley, we said that we would trust each other for the rest of our lives. I know that you are not a cruel woman. The reason why Ethel is so dependent on me is because I was too indecisive before."
