A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 514

"But what? Did my child have an accident? Tell me, did something bad happen to him?" Hearing Alvin's words, Mignon was losing her mind. She grabbed Alvin's clothes and shouted.

Seeing Mignon's uneasy expression, Alvin reached out his hand and hugged her body, forcing her to calm down.

"Mignon, you need to calm down now. I suspect that the child has been rescued."

"Alvin, what do you mean by saying this?" Hearing Alvin's words, Mignon's body froze, while Amelia looked at Alvin with a puzzled face and asked.

Joanna also looked at Alvin nervously.

Seeing Joanna and Amelia looking at him with confusion, Alvin said slowly, "When we went over, there was a pool of blood and an injured gangster on the ground. I asked him and he told me that some people had come in, wounded Sibyl and taken her away. As for the child, he had been taken away by those people."

"Who took the child and Sibyl away?" Joanna looked at Alvin and asked in shock.

Since they injured Sibyl's gangsters and took Sibyl away, did it mean that they also wanted to save the child?

But who on earth were them?

"That gangster had been knocked out before he could see those people clearly. He doesn't know what happened next."

"Then... is my child... safe now?" Mignon looked at Alvin and said weakly.

"Don't be afraid. I'll find your child." Looking at Mignon's tired and absent- minded face, Alvin's eyes were filled with distress.

He gently held Mignon's hand and nodded at her.

"Okay... please, you must find my child. Alvin, I beg you." Tears kept running down Mignon's face, and she muttered to Alvin in a hoarse voice.

Looking at Mignon like this, Alvin sighed and said, "Okay, I will find him. Before that, you must calm down. Believe me."

"Okay."

Since Alvin promised to find the child, Mignon was much more relieved. Although she sometimes woke up at night, she had become calmer.

On the fourth day after the child's disappearance, Amelia received a phone call after school. The voice on the phone was weak and feeble, which made her very puzzled.

"Who are you? Why do you call me?" Amelia frowned and asked on the phone.

"Kitty..." After a long time, a hesitant voice came from the phone. Hearing this, Amelia's whole body trembled and her face turned pale.

"Sibyl? Is that you?" Was it Sibyl who called Amelia?

Amelia felt that her breathing became rapid when she heard Sibyl's voice.

"I... am in the house we used to live. Can you come here?" Sibyl pressed her arm and asked Amelia intermittently.

Her body was very uncomfortable and painful. She spent a lot of effort to escape

from Aneirin's captivity. The only person she could trust was Amelia.

"Okay, I'll be right there." Amelia's face darkened. She said blandly and then hung up the phone.

She didn't know what happened to Sibyl, but

according to Sibyl's weak voice, she must be injured.

Thinking of this, Amelia went to the pharmacy to buy some commonly used medicines, and then went to the house where she used to live.

The house where Sibyl and Amelia used to live had become abandoned. The land here had been taken over by the government, and almost no one lived here.

Amelia found the house where she used to live. There were tall grasses growing all around the yard, but she did not see Sibyl.

Amelia took a deep breath and called Sibyl by her name.

"Sibyl, where are you?" Amelia called several times, but no one responded. She frowned, and when she was about to leave, she heard a faint voice.

"Kitty, I'm here." Amelia looked at the place where the sound came from and then saw Sibyl, who was hiding under a large patch of grass with a pale face. Her hair was messy and her face was terribly pale, her lips were faintly purple, and her arms were bleeding. Some of the blood had dried up, which looked shocking.

"Why do you become like this?" Amelia gulped in surprise. Although she didn't agree with the terrible things Sibyl had done, in her heart, she regarded Sibyl as her elder sister because Sibyl had saved her.

"I escaped... from Aneirin's captivity." Sibyl said intermittently, and she was in a semi- conscious state.

Amelia had no choice but to help Sibyl come into the old house and treat her wounds.

After that, Amelia sat aside and waited for Sibyl to wake up.

Looking at Sibyl like this, Amelia was in a very complicated mood.

Sibyl kidnapped Nacho's child, and Amelia felt that she should hate Sibyl. However, Sibyl was always her elder sister who saved her life.

Just as Amelia was staring at Sibyl's face in a daze, Sibyl woke up dizzily.

As soon as she woke up, she saw the complicated expression on Amelia's face.

She said to Amelia in a hoarse voice, "Kitty... thank you."

"You don't need to thank me. You just said that you escaped from Aneirin's captivity. The person who saved the baby was Aneirin, right?"

If it was Aneirin who saved the baby, Amelia would be relieved.

The Situ family and the Xis had been on good terms for a long time. Stewart was Edward's good friend, and the relationship between the two families had always been very close.

"Yes." Sibyl laughed at herself mockingly and looked at Amelia, saying, "Kitty, you think I deserve it, right?"

"Sibyl, leave here and start a new life."

Since the child was fine, Amelia felt that Sibyl could still be forgiven, as long as she could change herself.

"Okay." Sibyl looked at Amelia with a complicated expression and said blandly.

It was beyond Amelia's expectation that Sibyl would agree to leave here without hesitation.

She thought that Sibyl would definitely not give in, but she agreed so easily.

"I can... promise you to leave here, but I need some money." Sibyl didn't have any money and she couldn't do anything, so she needed some money.

"I can give you. How much do you need now?" After thinking for a while, Amelia looked at Sibyl and asked.

"Give me... five hundred thousand dollars. I will leave here and never disturb your life again." Sibyl said intermittently while looking at Amelia.

Five hundred thousand dollars was too much for Amelia, but she could ask Alvin for help, so she agreed. When Amelia left, Sibyl said, "Don't tell anyone that I'm here. Three days later, you can come here and give me the money."

Amelia nodded and left. As long as Sibyl could leave this place and start a new life, she felt that she could promise Sibyl whatever she wanted.
