She was also worried about Alvin. The reason why both of Mignon and Nacho were not so seriously hurt was that Alvin protected them. Alvin got badly injured because of this, which made Joanna feel very guilty and disturbed.

She only hoped that Alvin would be fine and could live healthily.

The next day, Mignon woke up at 11 o'clock in the morning. When she woke up, she felt weak and dizzy.

Amelia had been accompanying Mignon by her bedside. When she saw that Mignon was awake, she was very happy. She hugged Mignon, grabbed her arm, and called her name with joy.

When the house was quaking, Alvin appeared. He grabbed their hands and then protected her and Nacho.

"Nacho is still in a coma, but you can rest assured. The doctor said that although he is seriously injured, his life is not in danger."

"Then... what about Alvin?" Hearing that Nacho was fine, Mignon was relieved. When she thought of Alvin, she asked anxiously again.

Amelia's expression was a little complicated and worried. She took a look at Mignon who was nervous, bit her hard and didn't say anything.

"Mignon, you're in a poor health now." Amelia was concerned about Alvin, but Mignon's body was still very weak, and she worried about Mignon's physical condition.

Mignon looked up at Amelia and shook her head slightly, saying, "It doesn't matter. I'm fine. I want to see Alvin. I want to see how he is now, okay?"

"His life is out of danger now. But his specific condition needs further observation. You'd better be mentally prepared." The doctor sighed deeply and left with the medical record.

Although Mignon didn't know what the doctor meant by asking her to be mentally prepared, but he sighed deeply, which meant that Alvin's condition was not optimistic even if he was out of danger.

Alvin was sent to the Intensive Care Unit.
