A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 55

"What do you want to do?" As expected, William knew me best. He didn't blame me and just asked in a low voice.

"I want to be Edward's mistress."

Betty hated Edward being together with other women, so I want to take Edward away from her.

I wanted to make Edward fall in love with me and make Betty suffer.

"Ashley, hating someone is very tiring." William held my hand, and I couldn't understand the emotions in his eyes.

I smiled wryly and said, "But there is no turning back."

William stared at me, then hugged me gently and said, "Okay, if you want to take revenge, I can help you. But I hope that you can remember that no matter where you are, I will wait for you here. If you feel tired, just come back to me, okay?"

"Okay." Hearing his words, I couldn't help crying.

It was so lucky for me to meet William in my life. But only many years later did I realize he was the reason for my endless pain.

"Edward is in room 301, the third floor of Paradise bar now." After we came back from the restaurant, William told me about Edward's whereabouts.

I went back to my room and put on the dress I prepared. This black dress was the one I asked William to order for me. I looked more beautiful and luscious with the dress.

I rarely put on makeup before, but I powdered my face and applied my lipstick and rouge. My hair hung down loosely. Looking at my sexy curly hair, I sneered.

Edward... I would let you pay the price.

I walked out of the room, and William who was sitting on the sofa in the living room looked at me with a little surprise in his eyes.

"Am I beautiful?" I smiled and turned around in front of him.

He said with a gentle face, "You look very beautiful. You look like a poppy in the dark, giving off a deadly but attractive aura."

What I wanted are Edward's and Betty's lives.

I chuckled and said faintly, "Drive me to the bar."

"Don't you want to reconsider?" Before leaving, William turned back and asked me.

I shook my head, touching my hair along my chest, and said, "I won't regret it."

I had said that I would make Betty regret what she had done.

After William sent me to the bar, I opened the door and got out of the car.

William looked at me and said with a complicated look, "Be careful. Call me if you need anything."

"Okay." Looking at William, I felt touched. I knew that even if everyone in the world abandoned me, but... he would not. He would never abandon me.

I held my head high and walked into the bar in my high heels. The men in the bar looked at me with evil eyes, which made me feel uncomfortable.

I frowned slightly and directly ignored the eyes of those people. I went upstairs and came to the room of Edward.

Paul stood at the door of the room. When he saw me, he said with a little surprise, "Miss Mu..."

"I come here to look for Edward," I said calmly as I looked at him.

He seemed to be surprised by my attire today, and he spoke with a pronounced stutter.

"I... I'll go in and tell my boss." As Paul said, he was about to go in and report to Edward.

When I saw this, I immediately reached out to my hand and stopped him.

Paul was a little confused by my actions and could not help looking at me.

I closed my eyes and shook my head at Paul, "There's no need. I can go in myself."

Paul didn't stop me, so I opened the door and walked into the room.

I thought that there must be some prurient scenes or disgusting things in it.

However, it was very quiet inside. I saw Edward sitting on a black leather sofa as if he was asleep.

He was holding a wine cup in his hand, and his face looked extremely handsome.

I didn't know if it was because of the light at the moment, but I saw the lonely expression on his face.

Maybe I misread it.

"Who is it?" As I slowly approached, Edward suddenly let out a cold sound.

I was shocked and stopped slightly.

I stood not far from him and quietly watched him staggering up from the sofa.

Only after a long time had passed did I suppress the hatred in my heart. I faintly said to Edward, "It's
