A Touch of Sweetness novel (Finnick and Vivian) novel Chapter 2650

They'd better pray she's fine. Otherwise, I won't let them off easily, Larry decided as he began exuding a murderous intent.

“Doctor, how is she?” he grabbed the doctor's arm and pressed.

“She's fine. She just needs to rest,” the doctor responded before he left.

Luckily, she's fine. Larry heaved a sigh of relief, his expression relaxing.

The pale and unconscious Della was hooked to an IV drip in her ward.

“Larry, why don't you head back home? |'|| stay with Ms. Duff,” offered Caspian.

Larry dismissed him with a wave. “I'm fine,” came

his curt reply.

Caspian was worried something else might happen after this.

“Larry, Joan is waiting for you at home,” he reminded Larry.

It suddenly occurred to Caspian that Larry's concern for Della was too much.

“It's alright,” replied Larry.

Since Larry obviously wasn't going to heed his advice, Caspian stopped trying to persuade him.

“Larry, I've got to go now!” Caspian dashed away without looking back.

Why is he in such a hurry? Larry gazed at Caspian's retreating figure curiously.

Meanwhile, Caspian was running as he made a call.

He had just recalled about Jessica getting drunk earlier.

Jasper was now his friend, and he had also agreed to work under Larry, but that didn't change the fact that he used to be in love with Jessica. Caspian was afraid he might take advantage of Jessica as she was intoxicated.

“Hello?”

Jessica sounded tipsy even over the phone.

“Who is it?” another man's voice rang out clearly.

Yes, they were Jessica and Jasper.

Wait, Jessica told me her drink was spiked!

All at once, Caspian was dumbfounded.
