Lydia seemed stunned, at a loss for words.

"So, what if you are pregnant with his child?" she asked.

Candy was taken aback and could not help exclaiming, "You are pregnant?!"

She thought, "Richard looked so pretentious on the outside, yet secretly got a woman in her twenties pregnant?"

Lydia touched her stomach. "Yes."

Candy's mind was in a whirl. She initially only wanted to find out if Lydia was truly interested in Richard or just after his money.
