Awake for Love: My Coma Bridegroom novel Chapter 315

Back then, she said those words when she was mad, and he was gonna hold a grudge for a lifetime?

After dinner, she dialed Mike's number, hit the speakerphone, and started cleaning up the kitchen.

"Violette, I'm gonna be late tonight!" Mike's tone was serious and solemn, "I'm not going to the bar tonight, I've got something legit to do. I'll tell you tomorrow."

Violette said, "It's not something big, is it? You're suddenly so serious, I'm not used to it."

Mike laughed, "I'm afraid you might think I'm messing around outside. You don't have to save me any dinner."

"Alright." Violette said.

After hanging up, Violette looked at the empty house and couldn't help but think of her mom.

The reason she didn't want to hire a nanny was to do everything her mom used to do. And to guess what her mom was thinking while doing those things.

The more she thought about it, the more guilty she felt. Her mom had been taking care of her since she got pregnant. After the baby was born, her mom went all out to help take care of both children.

Not a single day was spent living for herself.

She didn't think there was anything wrong with this kind of life before, but only realized after her mom was gone that she had spent almost all her energy on work and the kids.

"Mom! Brother's bullying me!" Rita suddenly ran out with a wronged face.

Violette quickly wiped away her tears and restored her expression to normal, "How did your brother bully you?"

"He said I didn't do my homework well, and if I don't do it right, he'll tear up my homework book!" Rita complained angrily.

Violette took her daughter back to the room and glanced at her homework. No wonder Ian was sulking; Rita's homework was indeed poorly done.

"Rita, I'll teach you. Let's use the eraser to erase these mistakes first." Violette had her daughter sit down beside the desk and patiently guided her.
