Grace quickly said to Sarah, "Elijah's back! I'll make sure he gives you an explanation!"

Sarah remained seated on the sofa, not getting up.

"Elijah, are you okay?" Grace examined him from head to toe, holding his arm.

"I'm fine." He helped his mother into the house, then his gaze fell on Sarah, who looked cold and detached.

"You two talk it out!" Grace said, "Elijah, no matter what, Sarah's been good to us, and you owe her an explanation."

Elijah nodded. Soon, it was just him and Sarah in the living room.

"Sarah, I'm sorry." Elijah stood by the coffee table, telling her his decision, "I can't force myself to be with you."

"I see." Sarah responded blankly.
