"Rodney is disgusted just like that?" Freya began to laugh derisively. "If he catches Sarah having an affair, he'll probably go mad. After all, Sarah is his true love."
"It's only because he has been neglecting Sarah that she was so quick to cheat on him." Catherine snorted. "Let's wait. Given that Osher hasn't been doing well, Sarah is probably treating Rodney with contempt. When she feels that her relationship with Grady has become steady, she'll initiate a divorce. Rodney will then see through her true colors and deal with her in person. We won't need to do anything."
"Will he?" Freya frowned in uncertainty. ' Rodney is very stern to everyone except
Sarah. He can forgive her time and again.”
"Rodney has gone through so much. Do you think he's still the same person from when he was married to you?"
Catherine said pensively, "He had everything when he was with you. It won't b e an overstatement to say that God favored him. He had a beautiful wife and a cute child. He was also close to being the successor of Snow Corporation. The companies he invested in were doing well too. The public held him with high regard and praised him for being the youngest and most capable businessman. What does he have now? The Snow family has completely given up on him, whereas his sister has snatched his position as the successor of the company. The people out there look down on him and give him the cold shoulder. He even married a wife who only knows how to do him a disservice.
Living in such an environment over time will cause a change in his mindset."
Upon hearing that, Freya felt a chill deep down.
She recalled Rodney's appearance the last few times she saw him. He had grown increasingly selfish and strange.
Then, she thought back to the time when she was on good terms with Rodney. It seemed to be in the distant past.
She sighed. "I really have no idea how he ended up like this."
