Freya gaped at the list. All of their identities were unusual.
"By the way, Secretary Fleming, since I'll be attending a charity event tomorrow, do you think I need to donate an item? How much should the item cost?"
Hans giggled at how pure and adorable Freya was. "Miss Lynch, you don't have to prepare it. The prime minister’s wife will get us to prepare it. All you need to do is accompany her to the event."
"Oh, okay then."
Since Freya was not sure about it, all she had to do was listen to Heidi.
After Hans left, Freya took a bath and studied the documents in the room.
Aunty Loretta focused on looking after Dani, knowing that Freya had something important to deal with.
Ryan went upstairs and walked to the door of the bedroom. He saw Freya lying lazily o n the chaise lounge at the French window and reading some documents. The room was warm, and she was snuggled on the lounge without any socks, exposing her fair feet.
She was reading seriously.
Ryan deliberately slowed down his pace toward her. As she was lowering her head, he stared at her graceful neck. Below her neck was a white cotton pajama shirt. If the white was not a little transparent and h e could clearly see that she was not wearing anything underneath, the pajama shirt would definitely look pure and pretty on her.
Yet now...
Ryan's eyes darkened. He tightened his fist and let out a light cough.
Freya looked up in a daze. Suddenly, she screamed in shock at the sight of a tall figure standing beside her. The documents in her hand fell onto the floor.
"Did I give you a fright?" Ryan quickly rubbed her brows. "What were you reading? You looked so serious.”
