"No." Sarah grabbed Grady's sleeve instinctively. She was afraid, afraid that Rodney would raise his hand against her. After all, his previous slap hurt a lot.
"How dare you place my woman on house arrest?” Grady squinted his eyes.
Rodney did not say a word. He simply clapped his hands, and a few bodyguards with towering figures soon walked in from outside.
Seeing Grady and Sarah's hardened expressions, Rodney laughed coldly. "I may not be who I used to be, but I'm not so bad that I can't handle a rich overseas kid and a woman. Either you two give me an answer today, or Sarah remains."
Sarah was so scared that she clung to Grady and whispered, "Grady, let’s talk."
Grady raised his eyebrows and walked to the side with her.
Sarah quickly whispered, "Grady, I can't stay behind today. Didn't you see his hatred for me? If 1 stay back, I'll definitely get beaten to death."
"What do we do?" Grady asked nervously.
Sarah scolded him stupid in her head.
However, she said weakly, "Why don't... you help me return the money to him first? I've spent a lot of the money he gave me before, so I don't have that much with me now."
"About how much do you need?" "I don't remember the exact number, but it's around 300 million dollars..."
"That much?" Grady was astonished.
Sarah felt uncomfortable. "I spent quite a lot on my medical treatments. Plus, I like to shop on impulse whenever I'm in a bad mood, so I've spent some money there. I participated in a few charity events too... Don't you have money? This should be a small amount to you..."
