Catherine did not say a word. She simply pressed her elegant lips together.
Shaun started feeling nervous. "Can you give me an identity..."
That cautious look made Catherine recall the bossy and haughty Shaun from the past. She could not hold back her laughter.
Seeing that Catherine was laughing, Shaun let out a sigh of relief. He pulled her petite hand. “Cathy, the way you stayed silent just now scared me."
"Am I that scary?” Catherine gave him a slanted gaze. "Weren't you quite arrogant in
front of me before?"
"How was I arrogant?" Shaun made a wronged expression. "I was prideful in the past. Now, I can give up everything for my wife. I only want you."
"You're aware of the consequences Rodney has to face, aren't you? If you wrong me again..." Catherine smiled. “It'll be tragic."
"Cathy, don't you know that you're even more charming now?" Shaun said with a deep gaze, "You've gotten even smarter and capable. I’m lucky to be able to marry you."
"Yes, count yourself lucky." Catherine let out a haughty harrumph. She brushed off his hand and walked toward where the car was parked.
Shaun was stunned as he knelt on the floor. What did she mean by he was lucky?
He chased after Catherine with his brows knitted together in a frown. "Cathy, so do you agree or not?”
"Think about it yourself."
Catherine did not even turn her head.
After being in a daze for a few seconds, Shaun hugged her tightly from behind. He chuckled. "Since you told me to think, this means you agreed"
