Rodney wept in pain and regret.
He wanted to know why he had become like that too.
However, his world had plunged into darkness.
The doctor removed the needle and said," Young Master, I'll give him another injection after two hours, and everything will be alright."
“When will he wake up?" Ryan asked with mixed feelings.
"One day later."
"Untie him and send him back to the old residence after the injection."
Ryan gave a weak and light sigh before patting Jessica's back. "Perhaps this is the best outcome for him."
"I understand.”
Jessica took a long and deep breath. Then, she straightened her back and shut her eyes.
It might be a relief to forget certain things.
However, it would break her heart to see him become a fool.
"I’ve told the doctor to reduce the dosage." Ryan suddenly said, "His intelligence will b e similar to a ten-year-old child's.”
Jessica turned around and looked at him with surprise. Only after a while did she say, "Thank you.”
Having a ten-year-old child’s intelligence was, at least, better than being a fool. He could laugh, play, and take care of himself. Moreover, he would be naive, which was good enough.
"You're welcome. After all... he’s my family."
Ryan did not feel too good about it either.
