Fine. If Chester had not mentioned it, it would have slipped Eliza’s mind.
Nevertheless, she was not the real Eliza. How would she know?
"Monte thought that I was like a dead fish as well, so he soon abandoned me."
She murmured after she found an excuse.
Chester curled his lips, but his eyes were somehow icy.
Although he was not the sort who demanded a woman's virginity, he felt upset at the thought of Monte having touched the parts of Eliza he had touched.
However, Chester had long known about her past.
"This is natural. Not all the men will accept a dead fish like you like I do." Chester's voice was gentle. "Having said that, I've trained you quite well.”
"...That’s not it,” Eliza replied in a deep voice. After all, she was an actor. She was great at pretending to seem unhappy, shy, and embarrassed.
"Tsk. How dare you continue to deny it?” Chester bent over to kiss her cheek. "I wonder who was pestering me until I had to change the bedsheet."
"Chester...” Eliza gnashed her teeth and lifted her head. Her pretty face was translucent.
Chester raised his brows, and his eyes revealed a hint of interest. "What's the matter?" 'I hate you," Eliza told him off with a soft voice.
"Do you really hate me?" Chester put his cigarette in the ashtray. Then, he tossed and pressed her down again.
Eliza stared at him for a few seconds with her pretty eyes before looking away. "Don't behave like this, Chester. I'm worried that I'll fall for you if I stay with you for a longer time."
With that, she was nauseated by her own words.
However, she would continue acting.
