Two days later, Charity went to a hospital in Bern by car.
Shaun’s friend personally received Charity. He was a middle-aged man in his 40s and had azure eyes and curly hair. His movements looked gentlemanly as well.
“Hi. I’m Nison.” The man shook Charity’s hand. Then, he got a female doctor in the hospital to perform a thorough body check-up on Charity.
After a series of examinations, Nison was surprised at the results. “Do you have a history of taking stimulants?”
Charity was momentarily stunned.
If it had not been for the doctor’s reminder, she would have nearly forgotten it.
When she was in a relationship with Chester a while back, she did take some stimulants to numb her feelings.
“Y-Yes.”
Every time she had sex with Chester, she would take the stimulants beforehand.
Nison sighed. “Young people like you never care about your health for momentary happiness. You can’t take those stimulants however you like. Overconsumption can damage your body, and it’ll be difficult for you to get pregnant naturally.”
A dazed look flashed across Charity’s face.
At that time, all she wanted to do was get rid of Chester. Although Max reminded her about the severe side effects of the stimulants he got her, she did not care about it.
However, it turned out she had been hurting her body since then.
“Can I get pregnant with medical treatment?” Charity asked nervously.
“That should work. After all, you’re still young. If you were older, you might have a higher chance of getting a miscarriage.” Nison looked at the test result and nodded. “Having said that, you must have a good rest within the first three months you get pregnant. If there are any signs of bleeding, you must quickly go to the hospital.”
“When can I do it?”
