Levi could not bring himself to listen to Cindy anymore.
“Miss Turner, President Robbins hasn’t the slightest interest in Chester, much less the affairs between you and him. You can discuss work with her, but I believe there’s no need to bring up such personal matters.”
In Levi’s opinion, Chester had long since gone abroad to have his leg treated, and Eliza usually would not mention Chester, so how could she fall in love with him?
“Really?” Cindy smiled playfully. “I saw Young Master Jewell and President Robbins together yesterday. Perhaps I misunderstood the situation, but I didn’t mean anything. I was just advising you out of the kindness of my heart, President Robbins. After all, you attempted suicide because of your previous relationship. As a woman, I don’t wish to see you commit suicide as a result of being hurt badly in relationships.”
“Thank you for your concern,” Charity said calmly.
“You’re welcome.” Cindy’s lips curled into a smile before she left elegantly in her high heels.
Levi looked at Charity with worry. “Don’t listen to her nonsense. She—”
“I’m planning on selling my shares to a buyer within the next few days,” Charity broke in. “Do you want to sell yours? Quickly make up your mind.”
“I’ll sell my shares. I was hesitating earlier, but seeing Cindy’s attitude, I should forget about it…”
Levi shook his head. He knew how to be grateful. It was because of Charity’s help that he managed to buy Eagle Videos’ shares back then.
He had not earned much money over the past year, and now, all he wanted to do was manage his entertainment company well.
Under his leadership, his company was oppressed by Chester so badly that it almost failed. Levi knew full well that surviving in the business industry was no easy task, and he was clear about how capable he was.
In the car park, Charity got into her car and closed the door.
Now that she was alone, her expression turned icy.
