Chapter 14 He Suddenly Kissed Her

The agreement had been signed, and she had no way out now. So she could only complete the three-month task without telling her family.

Three million could solve more than half of the debt, and it was worth a fight.

"Well, will you rest tomorrow?"

"No, I will continue to work the day shift."

Ursula sighed, "Can you do this?"

"It's okay. I'm young and healthy. I can do it."

"If you have nothing else to do while on duty, you can take a nap. Don't push yourself."

After the call, Gwenyth looked around. The house was spacious and bright with luxurious decorations. It was very clean, but there was no atmosphere of life, just like a model room.

The kitchen was open, and she saw the large double-door refrigerator in the corner. She was so thirsty. She walked over and took a bottle of mineral water from the refrigerator.

She had drunk a lot of wine in the restaurant, but she drank it fast and vomited all the wine in the bathroom. She didn't feel much stamina. She just felt a little dizzy and uncomfortable in her stomach.

She returned to the sofa, took off her shoes, and just lay down when the doorbell rang.

Hearing footsteps on the stairs, she rolled over and turned her face into the sofa, without getting up.

Edison squinted at her lightly and walked quickly to the entrance. Through the video door control, he saw Nancy standing outside the door.

He didn't open the door, turned around, and walked to the sofa, pulling her up from the sofa.

Gwenyth was tugged and got up so hard that her eyes went black, "What are you doing?"

Edison dragged her to the bathroom, took out a bath towel from the cabinet, and wrapped it around her body, "Take off your dress inside."

She frowned and wrapped the towel around. Then she pulled down one shoulder strap and sleeve, pulled the dress down, and took it off easily.

"Go and open the door."

Gwenyth walked out of the bathroom with a puzzled face, went straight to the entrance and opened the door, and found that it was Nancy. She immediately realized what Edison was doing.

Afraid that the towel would suddenly fall off, she put one hand on her chest and looked back at Edison. He sat down on the sofa and lit a cigarette. He didn't care about Nancy at all and completely left Nancy to her to deal with.

"This is my boyfriend's house. Why can't I be here?"

Nancy's face darkened in an instant. She looked in over Gwenyth with a cold look in her eyes.

She was somewhat relieved to find that Edison was sitting on the sofa smoking a cigarette, and he was still wearing the same clothes as in the restaurant.

She felt that she had arrived just in time. If it had been any later, Edison and Gwenyth would probably have slept.

"You are such a slut." Nancy cursed in a low voice that only she and Gwenyth could hear.

A woman who would climb into a man's bed for money was disgusting.

She gave Gwenyth a stern look of disgust, reached out to push her away, and strode inside.

Gwenyth steadied herself and closed the door.

When she looked at Edison, Nancy was already sitting next to him. Nancy took his arm intimately, leaned her head on his shoulder, and said softly and coquettishly, "Eddie, let's make peace, okay?"

Edison looked indifferent and slowly exhaled a puff of smoke.

He glanced sideways at Nancy, "How can you believe that I have a girlfriend?"

Nancy didn't speak. She would rather believe that Edison was using Gwenyth than that he was interested in Gwenyth.
