Chapter 31 A Chance

"I don't like talking loudly."

Gwenyth smiled faintly." You don't need to speak loudly. I can hear you."

Edison was speechless.

Anyway, Gwenyth refused to enter his room.

Edison glanced at the big bed and somewhat guessed Gwenyth's thoughts.

"You fear me. "

Edison said firmly.

Gwenyth spoke honestly, "You are right. After all, I can't stop you if you are up to no good. So, it's better that we keep a distance."

Edison nodded thoughtfully. He walked up to Gwenyth and wrapped his arm around her waist. Before Gwenyth could react, he easily lifted her with one hand and carried her into the room.

He kicked the door to close it and threw Gwenyth onto the bed.

Gwenyth sat up in a panic and held a pillow in her arms. "Edison, what are you doing?"

"I've injured my hand. What can I do?"

Edison went down on one knee, took the pillow from her arms, and pressed his body against Gwenyth's.

"How heavy you are!"

Gwenyth almost couldn't breathe.

Edison chuckled and propped himself up with one hand. He pressed his cheek to Gwenyth's chest and heard her intense heartbeat.

"You seem to be very nervous."

Gwenyth tried to prop herself up on two elbows.

Edison grabbed one of her hands. With a gentle tug, Gwenyth instantly lost balance and lay flat on the bed again.

He rested his head on Gwenyth's arm, encircled his arms around her waist, and pressed one leg against hers.

Gwenyth could hardly move.

"Edison, what do you want to do?"

Last time, Gwenyth had been drugged and in a disturbed state of mind. She lost control and had sex with Edison.

This time, she had a clear mind.

"Let's continue what we have talked about before."

Edison slightly moved his head to Gwenyth's shoulder.

"If you have nothing to say, can you get up? "
