He has shifted most of his excellent employees from Ireland to help him settle everything in Michigan by offering them higher posts and had already started with his mission. He knew it would not be that easy to win the hearts of the people around but he was taking one step at a time to bring many changes to the economy and infrastructure of the city. And so he had taken the help of the mayor who welcomed him with open arms and was helping him side by side. But there were few who did not like what he was doing so he needed to be really careful.

Gale was still musing when John entered the office sharp before the allotted deadline.

Gale raised his eyes as he saw his energetic assistant walking inside his office then looked at him sternly.

 John was really nervous and wondered whether he was late and looked at the time once again. “Boss, I have found out everything about the Fletchers Company and also about the Fletchers do you want me to tell you now?” John asked his boss politely.

Gale nodded his head.

“Well most of the people working in the company have moved on to different cities to look for jobs but the people who have aged managed to get small petty jobs at private factories in the nearby town. Most of them very reluctant to leave but they had to earn their bread and butter from somewhere.

Miss Darcy was really generous she gave all her employees three months’ salary in order to thank them for their contribution along these years as most of the families had been working there for generations. After she sold off the Manor she paid off the debt. and cleared all the dues of her employees.

“Will they be ready to work with me if I employ them again?” Gale asked bluntly.

“Well, they won’t mind but if you bring changes in the traditional way of working then they might not but if you make them understand accordingly they might agree,” John said.

“Did Darcy’s bother run the company before it went bankrupt?”
