Call me Alpha (Aiden and Ashira) novel Chapter 54

Chapter 54: An Alpha’s Downfall

Aiden’s POV

“Fucking calm down. You’re fidgeting.”

I growled silently at Jacob from what he said. But I am! I’m fucking fidgeting because we haven’t heard from Lucianna or Nick if they found Ashira by now.

“Chill.”

I groaned between gritted teeth. “You start it.” I said, referring to the fight to occur.

“You should be the one doing the introduction, First-Alpha-on-the-North-list.”

Ugh. I know that but I can’t take my head off Ashira, continuously reaching her mind but I really can’t get inside our portal.

This is so frustrating!

I looked at Jacob with narrowed eyes and he slumped his shoulder with a sigh.

“Good image to show me, brother.”

I snorted. “Like I needed to teach more, brother. You had your mate without my help so you can do this one.”

Jacob laughed. “Lazy Alpha of the strongest pack.” he continued laughing when I scoffed, ignoring him.

He cleared his throat before taking a step forward.

We are standing at the upper floor of the field, where we can see the fight clearly and where we are able to interfere the fight once it got out of hand.

Well, one needs to kill the other, anyway so we wouldn’t need to intervene but if someone walks in and try help Elon, we have the right to kill them right away.

“An evening I’m sure is not pleasant to everyone here.” Jacob started.

I almost laughed by his opening speech. The crowd sure is pleasant right now for being off the bond with their worthless Alpha.

“The winner of this fight will be declared the next to reigning Alpha of Ravenous pack. The fifth in line of the North region.” the crowd cheered and some shouted to start killing Elon already. Jacob looked back to me with a smirk before he continues.

“A win will be decided when one of the fighter dies. No rules will apply for the two alpha bloods on the field but its strictly forbidden for anyone to intervene.”

The crowd continues shouting and I knew no one will try and help their Alpha at all.

What a poor bastard.

“Let the battle begin!”

‘Nick, update me.’ I said through the mind-link.

‘We’re still at it. I’ll update you so do your role there.’

I sighed and cleared my throat. I tried reaching Ashira’s thoughts again but still nothing.

Okay. I think I need to focus right now into this battle. I don’t think there will be harm to be done since the pack already decides for themselves. So no one will fight us now.

Zeke stands proud in the middle of the field and in front of him is Elon who’s sitting comfortably on the ground with his legs straight and his hands leaning for support.

“And who are you?” Elon asked Zeke.

Since Jacob and I are Alpha, we can hear the conversation with our enhanced hearing. The whole crowd won’t but we do.

Zeke’s nose is flaring. I’m not sure but I already saw a shade of red in his eyes even though he is still not an Alpha.

The crowd must be cheering for him to win. Giving him an ample amount of force and strength.

Elon looked up to where I was.

“It’s you I wanted to fight, Aiden. Why are you asking a..” he looked at Zeke with a disgust look. “I don’t even know what you are, boy.”

Zeke’s body started shaking uncontrollably.

“Zeke, you need to fight in human form.” I said, enough for his ears to hear.

Zeke looked at me angrily. His body is still shaking, his breathes are uneven and saliva are dripping down his mouth. A condition when the wolf part is taking over the human. Which he shouldn’t do. Though its not against the rules, the crowd might think he don’t have any control over his wolf.

And that is not the right thing to show if you want to be an Alpha and if you want the pack to accept you.

But of course, Zeke does not care about any of these at all.

“This guy doesn’t even knew the basic?” Elon said and laughed as he stood up, looking at Zeke with narrowed eyes. “What is your right to fight me, boy? And… what is this smell? You’re a rogue?” Elon laughed loud.

The crowd seems to be confused as the cheering dies down a little.

“So what?” Zeke said with emphasis of anger and he surely can’t hold his wolf any longer.

“Zeke. Fight in human form.” Jacob also instructed as he noticed that Zeke’s trembling won’t stop. It even increases to the point that his shirt were ripped when his shoulders started growing bigger.

An upcoming shape-shifting.

“This is bad.” Jacob muttered beside me. I sighed loudly. “Maybe if he shifted, we could change the report. What do you think?”

I scoffed. “With all these crowd?” Jacob is being silly.

“They don’t want their Alpha, anyway.”

“Still. There’s the Beta who’s waiting for a mistake to happen so he could reign this pack.”

Not that it matters but I would like Zeke to be the Alpha of Ravenous. He deserves that right.

“Zeke, there’s a law. If you won’t kill him the right way, we can’t let you fight him.” I said to him.

Zeke looked at me while Elon kept smirking.

Why is this bastard even feels like he win this round when all of his pack wanted him out?

“There’s no such thing as that, though, right?” Jacob whispered to me. I growled at him. Of course, there isn’t but I’m trying tpo encourage Zeke to do the proper ways so the goal will be achieved right.

“I…” Zeke talked, making our attention back at the field. His eyes are focused to Elon and its completely black. The way he speaks shows its hard for him, but there’s a slight hint that he is trying to fight his wolf form taking over. “am the son of Zeuracious.”

After he said that, he gave a blow on Elon’s unprepared face.

The crowd cheered when Elon fell on the ground, flat on his face.

The weak Alpha spit blood and looked at Zeke with narrowed eyes and wide psycho smile.

“The son of the fool Alpha. Don’t make me laugh.”

From what he said, Zeke took another step to attack but Elon easily dodged it, giving a kick on Zeke’s ribs, losing his balance.

Elon stood up to attack but before his claws reached Zeke’s torso, Zeke ducked and stabbed Elon’s stomach.

“Watch the fool’s son kill you.” he said and pierced his claws deeper, hitting the internal organs of Elon, before twisting his hands for further impact.

“Ack!” Blood bursted out of Elon’s mouth and his arms numbed falling on his sides.

‘We found her.’

I looked on my side when I heard Nick on my head. Immediately, I lose my focus on the fight.

“They found her and she’s alright.” Jacob said to me, too. Lucianna had reached to him, as well.

I sighed in relief and nodded at Jacob. He looked down and continues watching the fight. I peaked on the field and Zeke is the only one attacking right now.

Elon is completely immobile.

This already looked like a winning match for Zeke as I see it so I decided to talk with Nick.

‘Is she alright?’

‘Yeah. I think so. She’s not talking to me though. Is that weird?’

My forehead knotted from his report.

‘How about Lucianna?’

‘Still the same. Nothing change between them though I feel like I’m left out.’

I groaned from how I imagined Nick pouting right now as he said those.

‘Stop acting like a child and be mindful of the surrounding. If anyone wants to assault me, they’ll go for my mate so keep your guards up and stop sulking.’

‘I got it.’

I sighed. At least, she’s safe.

“Zeke is winning,” Jacob updated me about the fight. “Are they here yet?”

“They’re coming.”

He nodded and we both continue watching the fight. Zeke surely made this a fight worthy to watch as he make Elon suffer than have a quick death.

“You…” Zeke stopped hitting when Elon spoke. He looked up at where I was standing. His face is bloody and deformed from the swollen bruises. “…didn’t win this fight.”

Even from his state right now, he managed to smirk. The same look that its as if he did win.

I’m not a bit scared from what he said. I had my mate back, and he lose his own pack. I can’t see the sense he was trying to point out.

“That Alpha is all mouth.” Jacob whispered.

In a brisk of wind, I smelled the most intoxicating scent that my lungs craved a lot.

She’s here.

I turned around and saw Ashira up there. Standing next to her friend with Nick behind them.

My mate. Finally.

I am willing to die just to have a look on that face. Just to be able to touch her, to smell her.

I don’t know what her emotion is right now. I can’t feel her yet. Did they make her drink another kind of concealing potion?

“Just end it already.” I heard Jacob whispered, talking about the fight down the field but I don’t care about it anymore.

My hands started to shake and I tried my best to hide it. It’s itching to be in Ashira’s skin. My wolf is howling, longing.

‘Stay in there, pal.’ I said to my wolf when I felt him trying to take over. What’s he gonna do to Ashira when I let him out? Jump to her?

I watched as I saw Ash took a slow step forward. Looking in my direction.

I thought she’s gonna fall and when she started running to me, I wanted to run to her too but my legs made a slow steps to her.
