Chapter 104
“Are you dumb? Do you not know the reason you’re trending? How could you be proud of that?” Sophia berated Betty,
Betty rubbed her forehead. She wasn’t dumb–just momentarily distracted when Alice White trended along with her.
“S–So, what do I do? The scandal is bad for me. Now that everyone knows Alice White saved the girl, I can’t fight back against public opinion. Am I really going to be crushed by that country bumpkin?”
“I’ve talked to your dad on your behalf. He says that you should never clarify or apologize in any way. Just keep quiet about it!” Sophia said in a low voice.

“Well…”
“I know she’s upstairs. She’ll regret making me wait.”
“M–May I have your name?”
Alyssa was as dazzling as ever, even when she smirked. “Just tell her it’s Ms. White.”
The employee dashed upstairs to notify Betty. Betty was taken aback when she heard that a beauty named Ms. White had arrived and requested a meeting. She felt the urge to throw things around to release her anger, but she remembered that the items in the store were expensive
Just when she was at a loss, one of her girlfriends spoke up with indignation, “Betty, I’m pretty
“Right! Now that she has shown up, you cannot let this slip! This is the perfect chance to get back
“Ms. Betty, is this how you do business? Aren’t you afraid of hurting your reputation by mistreating your customer?”
