Caught in Love With My Previous CEO novel Chapter 95

Chapter 95 Even Shopping Can Affect Stock Prices

Butler Lincoln called Tina to inquire if she was available at the moment.

With a sigh, Tina lost her appetite at the thought of meeting Samuel and skipped lunch.

Carrying her bag, she navigated through the crowd and headed straight to the parking lot, where the Langford family's car was already waiting.

Butler Lincoln had prepared two meals as usual, and the accompanying bodyguard was the same as yesterday. They escorted her all the way to the entrance of Langford Tower.

"You can call us if you have any instructions," the bodyguard said, learning from his previous mistake and choosing not to get out of the car.

Tina felt relieved and entered the building with two insulated flasks. People she encountered along the way were more warmly greeting her than the day before. When she reached the reception, the two receptionists suddenly followed her.

"Tina," the two receptionists stood near the elevator doors.

Tina raised her eyebrows, "Is there something?"

"Nothing important," the two receptionists exchanged a glance and spoke in hushed tones, "This morning, Ms. Jones called and said that from now on, whenever you come here, we should call her first."

Tina couldn't help but laugh, "Do you need to call her now?"

"No, no, no." The two receptionists waved their hands, laughing, "We're not that foolish. Such instructions don't comply with the rules. Besides, you are the person Mr. Langford trusts the most..."

Tina understood that they were trying to impress her.

With a smile in her eyes, she entered the elevator and pressed the floor button.

The two receptionists looked at each other, unsure of what she meant.

Tina didn't take the CEO's private elevator, and on her way up, she encountered many acquaintances. Carrying the two insulated flasks, she stood out. As soon as she got off the elevator, a group of people started chatting behind her.

"Tina, are you here to deliver lunch to Mr. Langford?" Molly was just about to go to the cafeteria when she coincidentally ran into Tina.

Seeing the quiet surroundings, Tina assumed that Samuel was not present and felt relieved. She intended to put down the flasks and leave.

"Mr. Langford is inside," Molly said with a smile.

Tina was speechless.

She forced a smile, grabbed the flasks, and walked inside.

The CEO's office door was not locked and it was just slightly ajar. Carefully, Tina pushed it open.

As her gaze swept to the left, she spotted Samuel leaning back in his chair with his eyes closed.

He heard the movement but only furrowed his eyebrows momentarily before returning to his expressionless state. His eyes closed as if resting.

Tina saw that he wasn't speaking and quickly arranged the food, preparing to leave quietly.

However, just as she was about to turn around, the man behind the desk suddenly opened his eyes.
