Chapter 99 Dreaming of Success

The office was quiet, and Samuel was not there.

Tina immediately shook off the nervous feeling, put her hands behind her back, and took a few deep breaths.

With Samuel absent, she didn't feel so nervous, and even the air felt much fresher.

She walked over to the large black desk, placed her hands on it, and stared at the chair where Samuel often sat.

Her heart suddenly raced, and suddenly her deep feelings were stirred by the surroundings.

Tina straightened her posture, looked around the room, and then went to the door to confirm that the door was locked.

Tina shuddered and immediately stood up, unsure where to look.

Behind her, the door of the embedded lounge opened, and Samuel walked to her slowly.

"I never realized you had such a big appetite."

He was wearing only a loosely fitted shirt and leaning against the door frame while staring at Tina.

Swallowing nervously, she took a deep breath and replied, "Everyone has dreams, is that not allowed?"

"Dream and daydreaming, can you tell the difference?" Samuel snorted and looked at her hand that was still gripping the chair.

Tina quickly withdrew her hand and moved away slightly, saying, "Who knows if one day my dream will come true."

Samuel grinned, slowly walked over, and looked down at the woman in sunglasses before him, saying, "The Langford Group has gone through thirty years to reach its current scale. Even in your dreams, you should have a sense of propriety."

Tina clenched her fists, refused to back down, and retorted, "Just because you were born with a silver spoon, does that mean others can't dream of success and glory?"
