CEO'S Dejected Wife novel Chapter 5

Maureen walked back to her room with so much anger boiling in her, she could kill someone when she gets angry but in this darn prison she calls a house she has no other choice but to control it.

She walked straight to her bed taking the book from her bed, back to its rightful place.-

She drank the cup of water on the table, trying to calm her nerves down. She got so angry and threw the glass on the floor.

Why does she always have to suffer, most her day always get ruined by that sly man, she wish her mother had never died

She walked to her drawer, took out her pills and threw them down her throat.

She'd remember when she always got angry over little things and started hyperventilating her mom took her to the clinic when he discovered it was getting too much,they found out that it was a disorder where she would be unable to control herself.

She paced up and down her room, waiting for her anger to subside.

Walking to her closet, she picked up a white slim fit gown, a white block heel. She got dressed, waiting for her cue to leave.

Soon she got a text and knew it was time.

She picked her white bag and walked out of her room.

She walked out of the house, with her head held high, her shoulders straight.

Leo walked into the restaurant with his hand in his pocket. The restaurant was so quiet, only the cooks and the waiter were in the restaurant, he had booked the whole restaurant for his lunch with Maureen.

Leo sat so comfortably on the chair in the VIP section, he crossed his leg as he went through his phone waiting for his date.

Maureen walked into the restaurant with blank expressions on her face.

"This way Ma'am" The waitress said, guiding her to the VIP section.

Maureen's heart pounded faster with every step she took, she inhaled, raised her shoulders high, her head higher, her expression blanke.

"Sir"the waiter acknowledged him.

"You may leave"

Leo looked at Maureen from head to toe, she was in a white body fit gown that went past her knees, her hair packed in a tight bond, Leo looked at her with so much interest, he found her breathtaking. His father really has good taste at least.

He noticed her eyes never looked at him.

"Please take a sit" he showed her an empty seat

He adjusted his tie, "Good afternoon Miss Daniels nice to meet you"

She took her head up still not looking into his eyes

"Good Afternoon Mr Nathan"she muttered realising a very feign smile.

He hailed the waiter to come over so their orders could be taken

"Your order sir?"

"I'll have latte and creamy blueberry baked french toast.

"And you miss?"

"Just get me black coffee,"she said .

"I guess you know the situation we have at hand and all I just want to hear is your honest opinion, do you really want to get married to me?
