Lia had not planned to stay until the next morning anyway. She also did not want to watch Dominic manipulate Bella as he wished during the interview, as she was scared she might ruin everything in a fit of anger.
Once Lia left, Bella finally allowed herself to be sad. Dominic always had a way to torture her.
Early the next day, Bella woke up and dressed herself neatly. She had even applied light makeup to make herself look more energetic.
She had also asked Carla to tidy up the house, leaving it spotless so that the reporters would not have anything to criticize her on.
Dominic came with Sylvia an hour before the reporters did.
He had brought some of his clothes to put inside Bella's wardrobe. He had also brought some of his belongings, like his toothbrush, to create the illusion that the two of them lived together.
Bella watched calmly as Sylvia busied herself. On the other hand, Dominic sat on the couch opposite hers. He was on his phone, exuding a cold air.
Just as it was about to reach ten, he finally put down his phone and took out two rings. He placed one on his finger and slipped the other ring on Bella's finger.
His action wasn't considerably gentle, but the ring had fit Bella's fingers perfectly. It was such a perfect fit that Bella could not help but wonder if he had purposely bought it with her ring size.
However, it did make sense for him to do such a thing. After all, he had always had a sharp eye for detail. How could he possibly overlook such a small detail and allow the reporters to question him over it?
Suppressing her emotions, she forced out a smile when the reporters entered.
Suddenly, Dominic inched closer toward her and whispered, "Your smile is too fake, and those reporters aren't idiots."
His hot breath fell on her neck, and she subconsciously shrank her neck back while her ears turned red. He seemed to have chuckled gently, but when Bella turned to look back at him, his expression was already back to normal.
During the entire interview session, Dominic and Bella sat closely on the same couch. He had also reached out and held her hands very naturally.
