Dancing in The Charming Night novel Chapter 1

West Brunswick.

It was ten o'clock at night.

I opened the door and went into the house. I switched on the lights. The lights from the crystal chandelier in the guest room cast my shadow on the floor-to-ceiling windows.

This house would be my wedding home tomorrow. And my fiance Perry Bart, a department manager of a company, was handsome and considerate. I was very fortunate to have met such a man in my life.

According to the wedding traditions, we couldn't live together the night before the wedding. Perry lived in our wedding home while I lived in my best friend Liliana Ward's house.

Before I went to bed, I checked the things I needed tomorrow and found that I forgot my bridal veil back in our wedding home.

So I quietly went back to our wedding home without calling Perry beforehand, just to surprise him.

To think that after tomorrow, Perry and I would be able to live happily together forever,

a happy smile curved up my mouth.

I put on my slippers and walked to the living room. As I walked, I heard a woman's groan of ecstasy.

I was shocked. The door of the master bedroom was ajar. And the feminine voice came from it.

Suddenly I felt a raging fire burning inside me, and my legs were numbed. But I still walked over involuntarily.

Standing at the door, I could clearly hear the stray cries inside, it became clearer and clearer, and each cries hit my heart heavily.

The door was barely closed. I pushed the door lightly and it was opened.

I saw a woman's high heels, underwear, and stockings scattered on the floor. It was difficult to not imagine things when I saw these.
