He was about to question why he drove off alone from the villa, but a warning glance from Ian made him swallow his words.

They all drove back to the small town, and Maja was sitting with Ian the whole time. She could feel a change in Daly's gaze towards her; it was now filled with disappointment and heartache.

Just as they got back to Riverside Haven, Maja had barely stepped out of the car when she heard Olivia's furious voice from a distance.

Olivia stormed up to her, ready to slap Maja.

Olivia was burning with jealousy. She thought she was no less than Maja, but this god-like man didn't even glance at her. Instead, he seemed to favor Maja, keeping her by his side.

They must have something going on; she wondered what he was like in bed.
