Chapter 101 

Despite Carol and Tammy’s schemes, they could not do anything to Anya right away and had to wait for the perfect opportunity, so Anya was safe today. 

Anya hurriedly packed her things and left work when it was time to knock off. 

She had to prepare for their paternity test tomorrow. 

Anya arrived home at the apartment not before long. 

Ellie and the children were sitting in the living room playing games. 

The moment Anya entered the apartment, Ellie came over with the children, “Are you home already?” 

“Uh huh,” Anya quickly changed into slippers and went over to hug her children. 

Nathaniel hugged her back before acting like an adult and touching her head, “Mom, welcome home.” 

The moment Nathaniel finished his sentence, Anya got a shock. Her son was incredibly smart. “Nate, did grandma teach you the say that?” 

Ellie smiled as she said, “Nope. I didn’t teach him to say that. He heard it on the television when he was watching 

cartoons.” 

Nathaniel was quite the prodigy as he was far more well developed than his little sister, Eudora. 

His little sister was just like any other kid and was unable to speak yet. 

For the time being, she spoke like any other baby and could only say “Mama.” 

However, Nathaniel was quite different. 

He was able to remember and say things after listening to them once. 

Ellie felt he was a prodigy. 

“Nate, you are brilliant.” Anya could not resist kissing Nathaniel’s tender cheeks and praising him. 

Eudora pulled Anya’s hand and demanded a kiss as well. 

Anya did not show bias and kissed Eudora indulgently as well. 

After kissing both the children, Anya carried them to breastfeed. She planned on weaning them off breast milk this week. 

First, she had to reduce the number of time she breastfed them. She would feed them once now and give them milk formula later that night. 

Ellie came over while she was breastfeeding the children. “I have done what you asked.”

“Really?” said Anya as she touched the children in her arms. 

“Uh huh. I found wigs made of real human hair. It will definitely work.” Ellie was impressed by Anya’s idea. 

Ellie could not believe it when Anya told her about it.

“Okay. We will make them wear the wigs tomorrow. I hope they can bear with it and won’t take them off.” Anya was worried something would go wrong with her plan tomorrow. 

“Why don’t we let them try the wigs out tonight?” suggested Ellie. 

Anya pondered before she agreed, “Sure thing.” 

After she was done breastfeeding them 20 minutes later, Anya spoke to Nathaniel before getting him to put on the wig. She proceeded to coax Eudora into putting on one as well. 

Initially, they found the wigs uncomfortable and kept trying to pull them off. It took a lot of coaxing before they were able to keep them on obediently.

end, they were rather cooperative about it and kept the wigs on for 30 minutes without trying to pull them off. 

Anya felt it was good enough for them to keep the wigs on for 30 minutes. 

It did not need that much time to collect hair samples for the paternity test. 

Anya finally set her heart at ease and played with the children a while more before sending them to bed. 

The next day, it was bright and sunny and there was a gentle breeze in the morning.
