The TV station was going to hold a dinner party tomorrow. Summer had to wear a gown to attend, so she pulled Monica as a reference. "Moni, is this dress good-looking?"
Summer pointed at a bare strapless dress and asked Monica. Monica shook her head. Summer was petite and was easier to stand out with middle-waist dresses, so Monica pointed to a short dress and asked her to try it on.
Madrigal put on her dress and came out happily to let Quarmy see, but she didn't expect to see Summer and Monica.
Both sides were stunned. Summer reacted first. With a sneer on her face and a tone of anger, she said, "Hey! Isn't this Jane the side b*tch?"
This 'Jane the side b*itch' made everyone in the shop look at Madrigal. Madrigal blushed. She was now a famous socialite in Jane City. Now, what Summer did really made her embarrassed.
"It seems that your hook-up buddy is going to turn you into an official partner?" Summer's eyes showed a hint of irony. "These years, even those immoral mistresses dare to wear a formal dress. Public morality is not what it used to be."
Madrigal felt so ashamed that she just wanted to hide underground, but Summer didn't intend to let her off the hook. "Don't you think about the karma if you ruin someone's family? I tell you that the price you have to pay for being a mistress is to have a son with no genitals."
"Summer!" Monica knew Summer's temper so well that Summer would keep dragging on. She pulled Summer and pushed her into the fitting room. "Try on the clothes first. I'll go to the bathroom."
Madrigal blushed, and the joy in her heart turned into bitterness. She looked around for Quarmy, but did not see him, so she casually grabbed a dress, bowed her head, and went back to the fitting room.
Monica grabbed a shop assistant and asked about the location of the bathroom and went to the bathroom. When she finished, she saw a pair of deep eyes in front of her. Quarmy even came here too?
He really spoiled Madrigal that he even accompanied her to try on the dresses in person. Monica laughed at herself in her heart. When had he been so considerate to Monica in the past? Monica was ready to pass by with no expression, but Quarmy stopped her.
