Every Breath You Take novel Chapter 49

Although No. 4 was not as charming as No. 2, she was pure and beautiful with a high education background. She was the Public Relations Manager of a large foreign company. Of course, she had heard of Roland. When she saw his wink and rose, her heart was pounding.

Monica had seen No. 4 in private, who was really the type that Roland liked. But Monica didn't like her.

No.4 often looked down on other people because of her appearance and high education. Among so many female guests, she was the most difficult one to get along with. Monica once heard her talk about herself, "Why does a divorced woman with a child come to the show? I really don't know what she is thinking. Does she regard the program as a supermarket? No one even chooses her. I really don't know why she is so brave."

She said too many such words, but Monica did not mind. She had encountered things that were ten times more embarrassing than it, and she had no time to care about some unpleasant words.

Seeing that Roland had been staring at No. 4 over and over, Monica guessed that he must have known No. 4 at work. He would work really hard to pursue the woman he liked. He must have come to cheer for her because he knew that she had participated in the program.

While she was thinking, Roland took the rose and stopped in front of No. 4. Everyone's eyes were fixed on them. Monica thought he would give the rose to No. 4, but he did not. Instead, he asked, "Miss, do you like me?"

No. 4 nodded excitedly. Roland smiled and said, "Do you think I'll give the rose to you?"

This guy did not follow the lines given by the program group at all. No. 4 smiled shyly and said, "I'm sure I hope so."

Seeing that he did not move in front of No. 4, the host thought that he did not know the process, so he reminded him, "If Mr. Wang likes No. 4, you can give the rose to her, and then she will ask you three questions. If she is satisfied with your answers, she will take off her mask for you."

Roland turned around and said, "Who said I like her ? I just think she looks like a bar girl I know."

His words caused an uproar among the audience. Roland did not care what others thought and looked at Monica with a smile.

Monica thought it would be a romantic show, but she didn't expect that he would pay attention to her.

"The one I like is No.5, Miss Monica!" Roland raised his voice, and everyone could hear it clearly. After that, he handed the rose to Monica.
