Every Breath You Take novel Chapter 68

Madrigal left the private room in a sorry state. In that kind of situation, if Quarmy had been willing to send her off, she would have been able to regain her dignity. However, Quarmy actually handed her over to Noah, who was also too drunk to drive. In the end, Noah found a designated driver in the hotel to send Madrigal back.

This was a big shame. The more Madrigal thought about it, the angrier she got. When she got home, she slammed the door loudly. Yale naturally couldn't sleep when her daughter wasn't home. She was watching TV and waiting for Madrigal in the living room. When she saw the wine stains on Madrigal, she was shocked. "What's wrong?"

"It's all because of that b*tch, Monica!" Madrigal told Yale what had happened. "I was wondering why she suddenly asked me to drink cross-cupped wine with Quarmy. It turned out that she was setting me up. It really pissed me off."

"Who told you to appear on such an occasion?" Yale poked her daughter's forehead. "You asked for it yourself!"

"Mom, I'm sad, don't scold me!" Madrigal felt very wronged.

"You'd better behave yourself and stop making any trouble in the next few days. I'll avenge you."

"Really?" Madrigal was doubtful.

Yale sneered, "Just wait and see. I will make that b*tch Monica lose all her reputation and live in sufferings!"

Madrigal naturally knew Yale's ability, so she felt relieved and went upstairs to change clothes.

The next day, Quarmy went to Monica's blind date as usual. After 25 male guests introduced themselves, Monica's eyes lingered on a male guest named Evan Hall for a few seconds.

Quarmy had been focused on Monica the entire time. When he saw that she was paying attention to Evan, he frowned slightly.
