Kai could not help but scoff when he noticed how cautious Skylar was. “Is that one of the rules Tobias set for you? Are you afraid that he'd see us together? Don't worry. I'm sure someone as busy as him has no time for TV.”

“I don't care what he thinks; what I care about are my fans. I'm supposed to be single to them. Otherwise, they'd all leave me.”

Kai was aware of how controlling Skylar's fans could be, for he heard how they threatened to leave the fandom after somebody secretly took a photo of her in a pharmacy.

Noticing that the camera was pointed at Saorise, Kai whispered to Skylar while trying to suppress his feelings for her. “It's been such a long time since we last met, so I really miss you. I tried to text you, but you blacklisted me.”

Skylar glanced awkwardly at Kai before responding, “I'm sure you're just as busy as I am, so why don't you keep your feelings to yourself?”

Ever since Kai first laid eyes on Skylar, he knew she was the perfect one for him.

Hence, his heart shattered when he heard that she was with Tobias because that meant he could only stare at Skylar from afar. “You should be careful of Saorise.
