Skylar dried her hair with the towel provided by the hotel after putting on the bathrobe, which was too big for her. As the collar was very low and Skylar wasn't wearing a bra, her cleavage could be clearly seen.
When she saw Susan standing at the door, she invited her in.
“It's all right, Ms. Jones. I'm just here to discuss some work matters with Mr. Ford. I'm going back to my room now,” Susan replied politely.
Skylar shut the door after the secretary left and said, “I notice that you and Susan travel for work together quite often. Why do you always have to bring along a female assistant every time you go on a business trip? Does having a woman around make work more enjoyable for you?”
Oblivious to the hint of jealousy in Skylar's voice, Tobias explained, “Female assistants are more meticulous when it comes to packing and preparing the necessary for business trips. Men are usually quite bad at self-care, and it might be more troublesome for me to take them with me. Just look at you... You're neither a very good worker nor do you know how to take care of yourself. I have to spend so much energy taking care of you.”
Upon hearing that, Skylar swallowed her words. Initially, she wanted to seize the opportunity to ask Tobias to take her to Thymion.
However, given that the man had already made his thoughts known, there was nothing left for Skylar to say. Penelope was right. It was no fun for her to go there by herself as she could hardly visit any places since she was unfamiliar with the place and did not speak the language.
If she went with a tour group, they would simply be visiting the tourist attractions, which was not what she was interested in.
Gazing at the religious scriptures tattoo on Tobias' shoulder, Skylar fell into deep thought.
Indeed, no two people were the same. As Tobias had informed Susan of the time Skylar had to wake up the next morning, the secretary had gotten out of bed way ahead of time to put on her make-up and set her hair, after which she headed to the couple's room to wake Skylar up.
With Susan around, there was no need for an alarm clock.
