Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1045

"Nuh-uh, no way!"

"Good girl!"

The room was shrouded in darkness. A sudden gust of wind at midnight disrupted the moon and the sparse stars, causing the moonlight to fade. Dark clouds shrouded the young girl's beautiful body, pushing the night into an abyss of darkness.

The wind raged for an hour, and it started to rain at 3 am.

The nocturnal rain erased the swelter and restlessness of summer, soothing the unease, bringing boundless relief, making one feel joy even in their dreams.

It seemed that Estelle heard the rain, but it could have also been a figment of her imagination. She simply didn't have any spare senses to feel the world outside.

The rain continued through the rest of the night.

As dawn approached and the wind gradually ceased, Estelle could finally hear the rain clearly. She could finally close her eyes, utterly exhausted.

She had many dreams, all sorts of dreams. It was as if she was dreaming of her childhood when her foster mother scolded her, beat her and pricked her fingers with a needle because she had accidentally broken her brother's toy.

She dared not cry because if she did, her father would kick her.

Being kicked by a grown man could make her gasp for air for a long time, the near-death experience scared her to death.

Suddenly the courtyard door opened, and a tall figure appeared, driving away her mother and father, protecting her.

She raised her head to see his face, but tears blurred her vision. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't see his face clearly.

In the blink of an eye, the man disappeared. She anxiously searched for him, straining her eyes to see him clearly, but could only see his blurred figure gradually walking away.

She stood there blankly, seeming to hear her foster mother's loud scolding again.

The scene shifted back to the abandoned factory where she and her comrades were surrounded by the enemy, trapped in a small warehouse.
