Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 11

The French teacher is a French man with elegant looks. Blythe often talks about him, saying that he's her Prince Charming and her crush.

As they walked into the classroom for class, many people looked at Estelle. They must have seen or heard about what happened earlier downstairs. People's reactions were mixed, with some admiring Estelle and others scoffing at her for being stuck-up and not appreciating Saul's attention.

Estelle seemed unaffected and sat down with her friend, ready for class.

...

After the class, and Blythe took the chance to get closer to her "crush" by asking questions. Estelle waited for her in the classroom.

After waiting for 10 minutes, Estelle went to the bathroom as Blythe was still not finished. Just as she was returning to the class, she bumped into Brooke and her entourage.

Brooke stared at Estelle with a gloomy face, blocking her way and warning her in a commanding tone, "Stay away from Saul!"

Estelle replied calmly, "You should talk to Saul about that."

Brooke's face changed instantly, and she tried to slap Estelle in front of everyone, hoping to help Saul pick up his dignity. However, Estelle kicked Brooke's left leg before her hand could even touch her.

Brooke's leg was broken instantly!

Estelle's delicate and elegant features would give people the illusion that she is easy to bully. In reality, she's quick and decisive in solving problems and never talks more than needed.

...

An hour later, Estelle was standing in the principal's office, and Brooke had been sent to the hospital. Brooke's father, Murray Hester, was arguing with the school advisor.

The advisor defended Estelle, claiming that it was self-defense since Brooke attacked her first. Murray angrily pointed at him, "Why are you protecting this little whore so much? She seduced Brooke's boyfriend; she's clearly not a good person. Are you two having an affair?"

These words made the advisor's face pale with anger. "Watch your mouth!" The principal backed him up, warning Murray that they could sue him for defamation.

Murray was furious with embarrassment, "I don't care about what's going on between you two, but I demand justice for Brooke. If you don't expel this brat, give me back the 10 million dollars I donated to the school!"

The Hester family was wealthy, and Murray donated 10 million dollars to the University of J City for a new library last year.

"I contributed to the University of J City, and now you're treating me like this because of some poor student? Give me my money back now!" Murray demanded arrogantly.

"Then please give us a few more days, President Hester," the principal said, unable to come up with 10 million dollars on the spot. But the principal is a man of letters and has his own moral.

“No negotiation, give it back now!" Murray insisted.

"I'll give you the money!" A cold, magnetic voice came from behind the sofa. A tall figure stood up and walked over.

Murray stared at the man, dumbstruck. "L- Mr. Lamont?"

Estelle, who had been standing in the back, looked up suddenly.

There had been someone sitting on the sofa throughout the argument, his back to everyone, so no one saw his face.

Estelle was calm earlier, but now she was a bit uneasy, not expecting to run into Jonathan in this situation, and especially with Murray's loud accusations, he must have heard everything.

Murray lost all his bravado since Lamont was much more influential.

Mr. Ingram, the principal, said, "Jonathan, this is a matter between the school and one of our students, you don't need to get involved."

Murray didn't know that Mr. Ingram and Jonathan had a friendship, and he quickly put on a smile, "I didn't know Mr. Lamont was here. You don't have to give the money back. I was just kidding."
