Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 110

Two days later, Bennett managed to find out some information about Carmella's painting being taken down from the exhibition.

He bribed one of the staff members at the exhibition, who told him that the person in charge had invited Old Mr. Quintin and his two students to evaluate the paintings the afternoon before the exhibition opening. After they left, Carmella's painting was taken down.

As for the specific reason, the staff didn't know.

Bennett went home and told Simone and Carmella about it.

Simone speculated, "Could it be that Old Mr. Quintin didn't like Carmella's painting?"

Bennett said, "Old Mr. Quintin is highly respected in the industry. Although Albert is famous, he's not Old Mr. Quintin's proudest student. If Old Mr. Quintin had any objections to Carmella's painting, I'm afraid Mr. Mullins wouldn't dare to go against him."

Carmella had not dared to go to school for several days and had locked herself in her room, becoming very haggard over these few days. She spoke with a depressed tone, "So what do we do?"

Simone thought for a moment, "Why don't we ask Mr. Mullins to take us to visit Old Mr. Quintin? The exhibition will last for a month; if Old Mr. Quintin agrees, maybe Carmella's painting still has a chance to be exhibited again?"

Carmella's eyes lit up immediately, "Really?"

Bennett frowned, "Old Mr. Quintin is low-key and doesn't come out a lot; I'm afraid it won't be that easy to meet him."

"But we have Mr. Mullins, right?" Simone, acting like grasping at life-saving straws, said urgently, "We said that Carmella's painting was taken for restoration. If it could be exhibited again in a few days, people would believe it."

In this way, they could save some dignity and make up for the loss.

Carmella immediately said, "I'll call Mr. Mullins."
