Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1139

It was Saturday the next day, and Estelle was off to the Lamonts’, with the chauffeur picking her up as usual.

Flipping through textbooks and materials on the ride, she felt a bit guilty for always having to ask for leave ever since she started tutoring Henson Lamont. By the time Janice Harper got back, she had no clue how to explain her frequent absences.

Arriving at the Lamonts’, she was immediately greeted with shouting from the lawn as she walked in.

Following the noise, she spotted Jonathan Lamont and Henson playing soccer.

Goalposts were set up on the lawn, and both were decked out in sportswear, running and chasing after the ball.

She had never seen Jonathan play before, and recalling what he had said when she saw Carson Foster and the others playing last time gave her heart a little jolt.

Two years and this man seemed to be getting more childish, she thought to herself.

She slowly walked over and stood at the edge of the lawn, watching them play.

The two were going after the soccer ball, with Jonathan clearly cutting Henson some slack or helping him learn some tricks.

After a few minutes, Jonathan scored a goal. The ball rolled quite a distance away, and Henson ran after it.

Turning around, Jonathan saw Estelle. His face was drenched in sweat.

He gave a smile and called out, “What are you doing just standing there? Grab me a bottle of water!”

Estelle turned around and noticed several bottles of mineral water on the white bench. She picked up two and headed towards the middle of the lawn.

With every step she took, Jonathan kept his eyes on her.

When Estelle reached him, she handed over the water.

“My hands are dirty; could you open it for me?”
