Emily chuckled. "I can't really see it."

As they chatted, they walked into the house. Holding Kya, Elliott announced to the living room, "Ma, guess who's here?"

As soon as Gina spotted the baby in his arms, she beamed from ear to ear and hurried over, saying, "Kya, let me hold you!"

Emily turned around and realized there was another person in the living room, and she froze.

Martin also stood up, smiling amiably and saying, "This is your baby; she's adorable!"

Emily was perplexed. "Dr. Martin, what are you doing here?"

Gina, cuddling Kya, winked at Emily and laughed, "Dr. Martin happened to be around and dropped by to check on my recovery. He's so thoughtful!"

Martin gazed at Kya and said, "What's her name? She’s gorgeous, just like you!"

Emily chuckled awkwardly. "Her name's Kya."

Gina passed Kya on to Martin. Kya squirmed a bit and anxiously looked at Emily.
