Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1218

Magdalen scored a big client in B City, which had her over the moon. Estelle and Emily were also riding the high with her. They were clinking glasses and gabbing away, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Kya was quietly munching on her dinner, occasionally making a comment that would have everyone in stitches.

As the night wore on, their gathering moved from the dining room to the living room, with Magdalen still hitting the booze, Estelle enjoying an ice cream, and Emily with a big bag of chips in her hand.

Even while snacking, they did not forget to chat, with an endless supply of topics.

Kya couldn’t open her eyes and dozed off in Emily's arms. But the other three were far from sleepy, chatting away into the wee hours.

In the stillness of the night, under the warm yellow light, sitting together with good friends seemed like the best thing in the world.

Having drunk quite a bit, Magdalen decided to bunk at Emily's place. Estelle tucked her into the guest bed before heading upstairs to sleep.

Estelle went upstairs and sat on the balcony sofa, staring at the city in the early morning.

Beside her, only a floor lamp was on, casting a dim light. Under the glow, Estelle's features looked delicately beautiful, but there was a hint of confusion in her clear eyes.

Feeling tipsy, she couldn't fall asleep.

She took out her phone and scrolled through her contacts. The last call from Jonathan was eight days ago. That day, she had returned from Villa del Sol and told him she was going home to work on some designs.

They parted at the building's entrance. As she was waiting for the elevator, he suddenly called her and said,

"Ella, can you turn and look at me the next time we part?"

That moment seemed like a long time ago, but she could still remember his gentle tone.

She was taken aback for a moment, then responded with a soft "Mm-hmm."

He seemed very pleased and then hung up.

Not long after, Manley Scott created a storm between them, shattering that warm moment.

Estelle stared at the name on her phone, her finger hovering over it, a flash of hesitation in her eyes. In the end, she pressed the dial button.
