Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1225

Estelle McClain got the assignment and had to go find Yulia.

Yulia was in the lounge, munching on fruit. Spotting Estelle, she immediately asked, "Did Mr. Tucker send you?"

"You're an actress; it's your job to work with the director. And you're not the only one getting soaked out there; we're all out in the rain together." Estelle glanced outside and said, "The rain's let up; get a move on!"

"I really hate the rain; wet clothes sticking to me; it's uncomfortable!" Yulia complained.

Estelle didn't say anything; she just gave her a look.

"Alright, alright, I'm going!" Yulia got up, telling her assistant, "Get a few more outfits ready for me; I want to change as soon as we wrap."

"Don't worry!" Her assistant said.

As Yulia headed outside, she gave Estelle a smile and said, "Don't be mad; I'm going now!"

"Just do your best to work with the director; aim for a one-take wonder. It'll save you some trouble, and the director won't give you a hard time." Estelle advised.

"Sure thing!" Yulia winked at her, then followed her assistant to the set.

Carmella McClain was in the neighboring dressing room, chatting with Yvonne. They talked about fashion, design, brands, etc..

Carmella kept praising Yvonne's classy demeanor, saying even the most basic set of clothes looked high-end on her.

Yvonne gave a sophisticated, gracious laugh, but her face didn't betray any emotion.

Carmella wasn't a fan of Yulia's blunt honesty; it always left her feeling awkward. But after spending a few days with Yvonne, she realized that forthright people had their perks; at least she knew what was on their mind.

Yvonne, on the other hand, always had this calm and collected demeanor. Chatting was fine, but whenever Carmella tried to get something out of her, she'd cleverly change the subject.

Yvonne really didn't let anything slip!

While they were talking, Carmella's phone rang. She checked it and got up, saying, "I have to take this call; I'll leave you be."
