Estelle flashed a thin smile, turning her gaze towards the window.

Her phone chimed with a new message and she glanced at it. It was from Sallie:

"Estelle, seeing Carmella get her ass kicked today was oh-so satisfying. Her parents will regret picking that cold-hearted bitch sooner or later!"

Estelle knew that Simone and Bennett genuinely loved Carmella. Even though Carmella was a scheming fox. But in their eyes, she was still their daughter!

"By the way, what's the deal with you and Mr. Lamont? Why is he so good to you?"

Estelle slowly replied, "He's my boss. I'm Henson's tutor, he pays me."

"You're pulling my leg. A boss treating you this well?"

"He just has a soft spot for his own people."

Just as Estelle sent the message, her phone screen flashed. It was a call from Bennett.

She ended the chat with Sallie and picked up the call.

"Estelle, we were wrong today, we sincerely apologize," Bennett's voice was filled with remorse.

Estelle gave a faint smile, "It's fine, I'm used to it."

Bennett felt more awkward, "We won't ever judge you based on Carmella's side of the story again. Honestly, our strained relationship is because of her. Your grandfather was right, we've been neglecting you. Estelle, come home. Let's be a happy family again."

Estelle's voice chilled, "You think that's possible?"

Bennett was taken aback and seemed very upset, he sighed, "Estelle, your mom and I owe you an apology."
