Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1371

Charlie cut to the chase with Emily, asking directly, "It's been quite some time, have you given thought to my proposal?"

Emily bit her lip, "I can help you heal your hidden wounds, to make up for my debt to you, what do you think?"

"Emily, you are my hidden wound!" Charlie lifted his hand to hold her face.

Emily's heart was beating faster, feeling like she couldn't escape anymore.

Charlie leaned forward, wiping away the wine stain on her lips with his finger, and then he asked softly, "Emily, you always make sure to pay back what you owe, and you forgive others for their wrongdoings, then why are you so cold and heartless to me?"

"I always remember!" Emily shook her head.

"Then pay me back; I only need you to stay with me for three months. After three months, I'll let you go, whether you want to stay in J City or go to Oakdale City."

Emily's throat tightened, her voice a bit bitter, "Really, just three months!"

"Yes, just three months!" Charlie moved closer, taking the wine glass from her hand and putting it aside, and then he kissed her gently on the corner of her lip.

Tonight's moonlight was particularly bright, which cast a glow on them through the window. Charlie's handsome face under the moonlight seemed even more charming, making Emily's heartbeat quicken.

Emily knew that there was no escape from him. From the moment Charlie re-entered her life, her destiny was sealed.

She suddenly remembered her conversation with Estelle today.

Charlie was not the type to take no for an answer, because he had never been rejected before.

But once he got her, her love would cease to exist, and her life would lose all its color.

Would she have to sacrifice her love to finally be free of him?

Or maybe her love was worthless to begin with.

"I owe you a night, so I'll give you a night!" Emily's eyelashes trembled, "I'll pay you back the rest in another way."

"Emily, are you really going to turn the last bit of our feelings into a transaction?" Charlie squinted at her.

He was so close to her that she couldn't breathe or think. She closed her eyes and asked irritably, "Do you want it or not?"
