Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1372

The moon was slowly rising, but the secondary bedroom window didn't have a view of it, making the room even darker.

After taking a shower, Emily woke up from a drowsy state, got back into bed, and stared at Charlie in a daze.

Charlie was utterly smitten by her adorable and tender look at that moment. He leaned down to kiss her lips, his voice husky and sexy, yet incredibly gentle.

"Sleep tight, I'll keep Kya company. Don't freak out if you can't find me when you wake up, I'd love to stay with you too."

Emily hummed in response, her voice unconsciously choked up, her face flushed, her eyes shy and a bit reproachful.

Charlie's gaze was deep. He pinched her chin, kissed her lips for a while, and then pulled the blanket up to tuck her in, "Sleep, I'm just next door."

After Charlie left, Emily turned over, her body aching terribly, but she fell asleep quickly as she was exhausted.

Returning to the master bedroom, Charlie checked on Kya and didn't lie down. He went out, closed the door tightly, glanced at the secondary bedroom door, and then headed to the living room.

He stood on the balcony, lit a cigarette, and then pushed open the window.

The night wind hit his face.

Exhaling a puff of smoke, Charlie pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

Jonathan Lamont had just gone to bed when he heard the phone on the cabinet ring. He cursed under his breath, comforted Estelle, and quickly got up to hang up the phone.

Luckily, Estelle just turned over without waking up.

Jonathan let out a soft sigh, picked up the phone, and headed out of the bedroom.

When he reached the living room, the phone rang again. Jonathan hurried to the balcony, and answered the call being irritated, "What's up?"

Charlie's husky laughter came through the phone, "Happy weekend!"

"You better have a really good reason for calling at this late hour!" Jonathan pressed the throbbing vein on his forehead.

Charlie leaned against the floor-to-ceiling window, took a puff from his cigarette, his eyes filled with a gentle and bright smile, and said quietly, "What's the safest post-sex medication for a woman?"
