Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 139

Jonathan narrowed his eyes, an inexplicable anger rising from the bottom of his heart. He blurted out without thinking, "I'm angry because you're supposed to be my woman, and you did something so stupid! It's just embarrassing!"

Before his words even faded, he saw Estelle's face turn even paler, the resentment and stubbornness in her eyes sinking instantly.

He almost immediately knew he had gone too far with his words. Maybe the reason for his anger was that he himself didn't even know why he was so mad.

The car's interior was dimly lit and filled with a cold silence as the two stared at each other. A moment later, Estelle said nothing more, turned around, and got out of the car.

She walked straight ahead without looking back, her figure slender and her back straight, soon disappearing into the darkness.

Jonathan leaned back in his seat, taking a sharp drag from his cigarette, but it felt like a lump in his throat, refusing to go down.

Eventually, Jonathan made his way back to the private room, his expression filled with gloom and distress. The atmosphere in the room grew tense as others present sensed his somber mood.

Charlie let out a laugh and addressed everyone, saying, "Keep playing, folks! Don't mind us!"

No one dared to keep staring at Jonathan, pretending as if nothing had happened and continuing whatever they were doing.

Charlie walked over and sat down in front of Jonathan, chuckling, "What's going on with you and that girl just now?"

Jonathan lit another cigarette, pursed his lips, and spoke softly, "She's staying in my place at the Royal Mansion."

"You're living together?" Charlie looked at him in disbelief.

Jonathan coldly glanced at him, "What's the big deal? Don't tell me you've never had a college girlfriend?"

"No!" Charlie paused for a moment, still finding it hard to believe. "It's normal for any of us to have different kinds of girlfriends, but not for you. You tell me, other than that girl you liked back then, have you ever had a woman by your side all these years? I thought you were still in self-discipline, but it turns out you broke it long ago!"
