Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1404

"Sorry, maybe I screwed up."

Estelle's heart was also filled with pain.

"I can't accept that!" Jonathan said seriously, "No matter what, we can't break up. Today's situation is partly my fault, too, but I didn't do anything to hurt you! You can be unhappy, ignore me, or even get angry, but breaking up is out of the question. I've told you I'll never give up on you in this lifetime. If you want to leave, you must wait until I'm dead!"

Estelle felt a lump in her throat. She hid her face in her arms and said softly, "Jonathan, a relationship where we're constantly hurting each other won't last."

Just like in her previous life as a mercenary, if there was a rift between team members, they had to immediately disband. Otherwise someone would end up dead!

A romantic relationship was just like a partnership on the battlefield. Each party held the other's life in their hands, and there could be no misunderstandings or flaws.

"Ella, trust can be rebuilt!" Jonathan hugged Estelle, "We have the rest of our lives to rebuild trust. Please don't give up!"

But when his hand touched her shoulder, she instinctively moved away.

Her reaction felt like a bucket of cold water being dumped on his head. Even his fingertips turned cold.

"Jonathan, let me be alone for a while. I need some peace," Estelle's voice was low.

Jonathan slowly retracted his hand, smiled, and asked, "Where do you want me to go?"

"So, you want me to leave?" Estelle's voice was indifferent.

Jonathan's eyes flashed, and a deep sense of powerlessness surged up. He looked at Estelle's curled-up body, and the pain was so heavy on his heart that it made it hard for him to breathe.

He slowly stood up, standing in the darkness, "Fine, I can leave, let you have your peace, but don't even think about breaking up. I won't agree!"

Jonathan's tall figure was so heavy that he turned around and left directly.

When the door closed, Estelle looked out the window. The light reflected in her eyes, making them seem empty and lost.

After an unknown amount of time, someone rang the doorbell. Estelle turned on the light and opened the door.

Emily, holding Kya, stood outside the door, smiling, "Jonah called Charlie away, and asked me to come to get you for dinner downstairs. The meal is ready. It's all your favorite. Let's go."
