The rain was pouring down hard, so Norah got drenched the moment she stepped out. She was filled with sadness, and her heart was aching. She felt lost and just wanted to get away from Xavier.

Suddenly, a car screeched to a halt right in front of Norah, making her jump in shock. Then her arm was grabbed, and she was pulled towards the sidewalk. Xavier held an umbrella over her head, his face fuming, "What the hell are you doing?"

"I don't need you to care about me, so go look after that woman!" Norah wrenched herself free, her face a mix of tears and rain, while her eyes were red with anger.

Xavier held her tight, taking a deep breath, "Norah, calm down. If you act like this, Zachary and Luisa will break up. You saw them upstairs; they're so happy together. Do you really want to ruin that?"

Norah wiped her tears and looked up at him, "Xavier, Luisa just told me in the bathroom that she likes you. Zachary is just a tool for her to get close to you. She's going to leave him sooner or later!"

Xavier frowned, "That's not possible!"

The rain was hitting the umbrella hard, making a pitter-patter sound. They were standing close while under the umbrella, but the heavy rain blurred their vision.

Norah looked pale; her eyes lost their usual spark, and she looked at Xavier with disappointment, "I knew you wouldn't believe me. You think I'm accusing Luisa because I'm afraid she'll take my place in the shop, don't you?"

Xavier frowned, "Let's go back to the shop and talk about this. We need to clear things up in front of Luisa."

"You don't believe me at all! I'm not going back! You think I'm being unreasonable? Xavier, when have I ever been unreasonable to you guys?" Norah was heartbroken, so she pulled away from Xavier's grip.

Xavier held on tight, "Norah, stop it!"

"Yes, you're always blaming me for causing trouble!" Norah's eyes welled up with tears. "You even told me to leave and never come back to the shop. Xavier, do you know why I came to your shop? Do you think I really enjoy washing dishes?"

Xavier was speechless.
