Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 148

Annetta crashed into the chair next to her and fell to the ground in an embarrassing fashion. It took her a few seconds to catch her breath after being kicked so hard.

The whole hallway became quiet, and all you could hear was Annetta's painful moaning.

About three seconds later, some people rushed to Annetta, while others surrounded Estelle. Estelle, holding onto Chris, kicked down one person after another, not letting anyone get close.

Chris was completely stunned and looked at Estelle in awe. He had never thought that such a seemingly delicate girl could have such explosive strength.

The entire company's hall was in chaos.

Employees in the company called the police. An hour later, Estelle found herself visiting the same police station and talking to the same female officer.

The policewoman laughed when she saw Estelle, "You again?"

Estelle felt helpless too. She actually wanted to endure it, but she was not good at arguing. Seeing Chris being verbally attacked to the point where he couldn't speak, she just couldn't restrain herself anymore.

Someone questioned them, but Chris stepped in front of Estelle and said, "It was all me who did the hitting, it has nothing to do with Estelle."

The questioner chuckled, "Are you two a couple? People have already gone to get the surveillance tapes, so there's no need to lie. Just tell the truth."

Chris still stood straight in front of Estelle, "Anyway, I'm the one who hit them, they can take it out on me."

In the next interrogation room, Annetta and her staff remained arrogant, uncooperative, and even wanted to post a video online to let her fans defend her.

The two interrogating officers exchanged a helpless look.

After the interrogation, Chris received a call from the friend who referred him to paint the company's cultural wall. He said their boss was very angry, as they had spent a lot of money on that internet celebrity. Now, Chris would have to compensate for all the losses.

Chris, full of vigor, replied, "Whatever their losses are, I'll compensate for them. But that Annetta also has to apologize publicly to me and my friend."

They hung up, and Estelle glanced over to question, "How much compensation do you have to pay?"

Chris reassured her, "You don't need to worry about that. It's my responsibility to take care of this."
