Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 19

Her words were explicit, and Hattie felt a bit embarrassed. She initially wanted to deny it, but then changed her mind and just smiled subtly, saying, "I don't know why he likes me either"

Estelle turned her head and glanced at the woman named Hattie.

At first, she seemed somewhat familiar, and soon she remembered. Hattie had played a princess in a TV show that Isis had previously followed. She didn't have many scenes, but her performance was outstanding. Isis even said it was a pity that she hadn't become more popular.

She also remembered the woman in blue. She was a minor celebrity, named Heather Vang.

Heather couldn’t hide the envy on her face, "With Jonathan, you can have whatever you want. Don't forget to support me once you become a leading actress."

Hattie smiled gracefully, "Why would I need to support you when you have Morrison."

Heather's eyes flickered, and she applied lipstick in front of the mirror, somewhat proud, "I spent so much effort to win Mr. Langston's heart, but now it's not easy to ask for something."

Hattie chuckled, "Even if you don't ask, Mr. Langston will give it to you!"

Heather's lips were bright red, and she pretended to be angry, "He only buys me jewelry and bags but refuses to give me a good role. Even the supporting role from last time, I had to spend the whole night coaxing him before he agreed."

"Mr. Langston is just afraid that you'll become too independent and ignore him!" Hattie teased.

Heather pouted and giggled, "Even if I become independent, I couldn't escape from him."

The private room in the club had its own restroom, so very few people came here. The two chatted carelessly for a while, and just as they were about to leave, they heard a cold voice from behind, "Stop right there!"

Both of them were startled and turned around abruptly.

Behind them was a floor-to-ceiling carved wooden door. Hattie and Heather didn't know the structure of this place, so they didn't care about what they said, not expecting it to be a door.

The two looked at each other, not sure how much Estelle had heard. Heather was the first to speak, "Who are you?"

Estelle approached, looking coldly at Heather. "Are you really involved with Morrison?"

Heather immediately felt relieved, thinking that Estelle was just one of the many women who admired Morrison.

She rolled her eyes, crossed her arms, and said, "What's it to you? Mr. Langston hates clingy people. You better not cause any trouble for me. If he sees us together, I won't be able to help you!"

Estelle raised an eyebrow, "Is he here?"

Heather lifted her chin arrogantly, "Yeah, Mr. Langston brought me here for dinner."

"Take me to him!" Estelle demanded.

Heather scoffed, "Who do you think you are?"

Without saying anything else, Estelle grabbed Heather's collar, opened the door, and dragged her out.

Heather got scared and stumbled along behind Estelle. She was a bit taller than Estelle, but she had no strength to struggle in Estelle's hands.

"Let go of me! Let go!" Heather tried to hit Estelle with her purse.

Estelle's eyes were cold, and she threw Heather against the wall. Heather's head hit the wall, and she screamed before slumping to the ground.

Hattie's leg was still injured, so she was a step behind. She reached out to grab Estelle's arm, "Who are you? Let her go!"

Estelle shook off her arm, and Hattie staggered back, hitting the wall and crying out in pain.

Hattie's agent Amy rushed over to help her up, yelling, "Where's the security? Get someone over here!"

The security and passing waiters all ran over, stopping Estelle. "Miss, regardless of the reason, you can't hurt people here, or we'll have to call the police!"

Estelle still held Heather by the collar, her face pale, her cold eyes filled with malice, "Step aside!"

Hattie spotted a familiar figure passing by and immediately called out, "Aaron!"
